About the Founder
Sweater Spa was founded by Kim Arellano, who found knitting at a time when she needed a grounding and calming creative outlet. What started as a simple hobby quickly transformed into a restorative ritual — the soothing rhythm of stitches, the pride in completing a piece, and the gentle soak of a "sweater bath" that rejuvenated each garment. Kim cherished that moment: the warm water, the gentle soak, and the way fibers relax and bloom, reminiscent of a textile gallery filled with vibrant artistry. Sweater Spa embodies this feeling, aiming to elevate fiber care into a luxurious, sensory experience that reflects the time, artistry, financial investment, and emotion that makers pour into their craft.
